Never underestimate what God can do with one small act of obedience. 🙏🏼🙇🏽‍♀️

But also: Never confuse visible response with spiritual reach!🕊️

Looking at our follower count I would never imagine these many listeners, but God!

And here’s the deception of social media:

While the follower count can tell you who publicly connected to the platform, what it can’t tell you is how many encountered God through the message. 🎙️🙏🏼❤️‍🔥

Truth is we live in a digital culture that has trained us to measure impact by visible engagement: followers, likes, shares, comments, applause, etc.

And no where is this more deeply programmed than on the algorithms of social media.

And if we’re not careful, we can become so focused on the people who didn’t like, didn’t share, don’t follow or publicly support, that we can completely miss the fact that there are many who are quietly listening and receiving the Word. Glory be to God!

Our job isn’t to make people respond to the Word. Our job is simply to obey God and release the Word.

It’s His Word after all.

If He gives the instruction to share it, then it’s His job to follow and perform it. Not ours!

The truth is: Some people may never comment. Some may never share. Some may never click like or “follow.” And that’s okay!!!

The important thing is that they are listening.

And while social media conditions us to watch and work and worry over ‘engagement’, God is concerned with watching over His Word.

Isaiah 55:11 says His Word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish what HE pleases and prosper in the purpose for which HE sent it.

And that makes ALL the difference!

Sometimes one small YES travels much farther than you and I will ever know.

So don’t become discouraged watching who isn’t following.

And stop being distracted watching who isn’t sharing.

Our responsibility is obedience.

The ‘reach’ belongs to God.

The ‘increase’ belongs to God.

And the ‘performance of His Word’ belongs to God.

Jeremiah 1:12

“Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten My Word to perform it.”

So just…

Keep speaking.

Keep sowing.

Keep sending the Word forth.

They may not be following.

But surely, somebody is listening…

So leave the watching and the landing of The Word to The Lord!

He is Well Able to Perform it!🛬
